In April 2015 I started blogging about grammar, and although I still have a passion for educating the grammarly- challenged, I found writing about just grammar wasn’t satisfying. I wanted to write about other topics.
I think we can all agree that life is challenging and difficult at times. I asked myself what I could do to help others with this thing we call life?
Believe it or not, I narrowed my philosophy of life down to three basic rules: keep it simple, never stop learning, and laugh when you can.
It seems we have an app for everything these days. I bet there is an app for everything you do, and I expect that the intention of every app developer is to make our life easier. But I’m not sure that is always the case.
I love my electronics: computer, phone and Kindle, and I love the apps that go with them. When I find an app or piece of software that I find valuable, I like to share that information with my readers. But before I do, I’ll weigh the benefits with the time and money needed to invest.
I’ll also throw in a recipe or two. (FYI…I like to reserve my really good tips for my newsletter.)
The brain needs to be nourished. Just because we’re done with schooling, doesn’t mean we should quit learning, especially when so much information is at our fingertips.
I want to encourage you to embrace a passion for history. My blogs will share information that you probably didn’t learn in school, or stories that you may have forgotten.
Lastly, I believe that we must keep a sense of humor. Here’s where I like to make you laugh. Ready for a side of sarcasm, completely void of political correctness? Then stick around.
